WINMALEE – Front entrance make-over. This project was a full front entrance makeover – street appeal on point!!  Take a look at the before photos…
We’ve created access from the driveway up to the front door, and also from the street side to the front door.
This was a sloping and awkward block where we used Merbau stairs with Ekodeck boardwalks in between the levels and bluestone natural steppers at each level. Handrails were created in Merbau to blend the mix of materials. Outdoor lights were built into the Ekodeck for safety.
The natural stone on-site was repositioned in refreshed planted and mulched garden beds.  We also added new pots, corten edging, a corten feature pot and a water feature.
New turf was laid, a new letterbox and garden lighting installed to finish the job.
This front yard is getting all sorts of attention!
Another creative freedom brief – “Luke, just sort it out for me”. Done
Glenbrook – Take a look at these before and after photos – this was a pretty awesome transformation here!
The area was fully cleared and we installed an Ekodeck boardwalk, Merbau timber stairs and handrail, bluestone steppers, corten screens to the pool boundary fence, Ekodeck pad and bench seat to the pool area, turf installed and garden areas completely overhauled and replanted.
Thank you to our clients for giving Luke a bit of creative freedom, as this always produces the best results!

Warrimoo pool Ekodeck – what a beautiful finish!! Take a look at the work-in-progress images and see the fabulous end result.

Winmalee – If the frame of your existing timber deck is structurally sound, think about changing the boards over to Ekodeck – it modernises the look of the area, and is of course much better budget-wise than replacing the entire structure!!
Check out this one we’ve just completed in Winmalee.
Old timber boards removed and replaced with Ekodeck boards.

Also, some beautiful natural bluestone pavers happening here – I just can’t resist posting about them, because they are always so gorgeous.

Mt Riverview – an awesome tidy up to the bottom of the back stairs creating a useable space. Excavation, three hardwood decking pads to sort out the levels, railway sleeper retaining and seat, new corten steel troughs and planting, road base sublayer and pebbles to finish.

Cranebrook – the original deck was halved and replaced with Ekodeck cladding and a corten edge, to match the new decorative screens, feature ring pots and garden edging. Trellising to fence also installed. New plants and turf where the old deck was to complete the new larger lawn area. Downsizing the decking has created a beautiful alfresco area.

Stunning design dreamed up and executed by Luke and the FPL team in Little Hartley. This project included Ekodeck with hardwood handrails and steel wiring; raised planter box including plant design (liriope, lavender, westringia, callistemon), corten feature pot, corten screens, railway sleeper steps and seating, sandstone fire pit area, deco granite for pathways and fire pit area, other garden areas, garden lighting throughout, aluminium sheeting for the underside of deck and irrigation. And more little features to finish it off!

Wentworth falls – this job involved a full clear-out of the back and side areas. Ekodeck decking and stairs framed and constructed, Bluestone steppers to each side and raised steppers to the top lawn area. New lawn and garden beds installed, separated by corten garden edging and feature corten pots within the planting design. Also sandstone retaining walls and some extra timber steps to the side of the house.

In Springwood, around the back we rebuilt the existing deck, paved with autumn travertine, screens to the pool area and new pool gates. To the front, we excavated the area and re-turfed.

Our Leura project had many elements. Start at the road! Cobblestone pathway from side of the road to top gate, with planting. From top gate, custom staircase was built for access down to the front entrance, with handrail. Concrete feature pads were formed and poured at the bottom of the stairs, hardwood decking installed at the front door, replanting everywhere with corten ring pots and feature trees, timber gate was built and installed, paving along new gardens. Huge! This one was an amazing transformation.

Valley Heights project – this one was tricky! The levels into the backyard were all over the place, so the framing was really important to get the structural side of the new hardwood decking on point. It turned out beautifully, with steps down into the under-cover entertaining area, a servery to hold the cocktails by the pool, and paving into the back entrance of the home. Quality stamp tick!

Our Glendenning project involved constructing a new spotted gum timber deck,  creating a hardwood sun bed area, hardwood pool storage box, feature screening to the pool, paving, garden beds and edging, and garden lighting. With the white tiling around the pool already installed when we started, we had to make sure that these tiles were protected during the entire course of construction, and remained white on completion (they did!) – a classy back area overall.

Springwood- Tetris project

Springwood – Cabana entertaining area

Jervis Bay – Timber bench seat.

Includes huge Ekodeck, retaining wall at back to create a level area, paving down the sides, turf, garden edging and garden bed designs, privacy screens to the front driveway and backyard features, and the hardwood timber bench seat and decking in the front yard.

Our Glenbrook project involved constructing a timber pergola entertaining area out the back with stairs, stone walls surrounding, new garden beds and lighting to complete. The front was clearing, complete new planting design, and feature pots to the doorway.
